With the influence of Joyryde, Skrillex, Matroda and Sally, Karios developed his sound in bass music genres, including Bass House, Garage, Breakbeat and Dubstep. The sound design and use of soul vocal to create vocal chops and vocal glitches gives his music an aggressive texture and groovy bass line.

Before I  fall in love with music, I have no expectations everyday. I grow up in a typical Chinese family that I go to school, study and follow the rules and plans everyday. I was always confused why should I learn this and that since I never fall in love with school education. Until the day I heard music by Linkin Park and Skillex when I was 12 years old, my life changes. In stead of going to school everyday without any motivation and goals, I start to imagine myself as an music artists and performing my original music on stage. Their music influenced me so much and gave me so much motivation. The first time I open Ableton Live and produced first drum groove by imitating Skrillex’s record “ Kyoto”, I kept listening to that drum groove for the entire day and I’m so excited about what I did. From that on, producing music is my biggest motivation and my daily life.

As a EDM artists, KARIOS also developed his world of visual and lightning. In his opinion, he treated the EDM scene as a complete show, combined with music, visual, light and other creative works such as fireworks. He has the motivation to bring out the best Bass music performance.
